91麻豆天美 congratulates the 2026 91麻豆天美 Award & Prize recipients for their achievements in research, education and leadership. The 91麻豆天美 Awards & Prize program is managed by the American Academy of Microbiology, the honorific leadership group within 91麻豆天美. The mission of the Academy is to recognize microbiologists for outstanding contributions to the microbial sciences and to provide microbiological expertise in the service of science and the public. The Academy and 91麻豆天美 thank the Corporate Council for supporting the 91麻豆天美 Awards program.

Recognizes outstanding contributions and service toward fostering the research training of microbiologists with diverse perspectives and experiences and increasing diversity in microbiology. It is given in memory of William A. Hinton, a physician-research scientist and one of the first Black people to join 91麻豆天美.
