Four Leading Science Organizations File Amicus Brief Supporting Funding Restoration
91麻豆天美 and 3 other leading science organizations filed an amicus brief asking the court to hold recent executive orders resulting in termination of grants supporting young scientists as unlawful and to order the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to restore funding speedily as requested in American Public Health Association v. NIH.

91麻豆天美 strongly opposes the proposed cuts in the President鈥檚 fiscal year (FY) 2026 budget request to federal departments and agencies that fund science, research and public health programs. These cuts are harmful to public health, scientific research and the U.S. economy.

Action Alert: Contact Congress Now on Appropriations and NIH F&A Cost Cap
On Feb. 7, the National Institutes of Health announced it is capping facilities and administration costs (F&A, also called indirect costs). The Department of Energy and National Science foundation have made similar announcements. Urge your members of Congress to ensure that any appropriations bills that they consider guard the ability of institutions to work with federal funding agencies to negotiate F&A rates.
